Anyone knows what book can find this story bout shakespeare? Really interested in this story but im sure wont be able to understand the original one...
So is there any "simplified" version out there? Thanks

simplified version?watch the movie la.den u go read the book.cuz olden day english very hard to fathom.like wherefore thou art romeo does not mean where are u romeo etc.so watch the movie first.

Alamak, pai seh. Didn't know that it was not about the physical being of Romeo. But I did try to watch that Leonardo DiCaprio version but too "chim" or old fashioned ley, the English, so returned to video store. -

Popular may have the simplified version... those community libraries also got quite a number of books on Romeo and Juliet.

i think hiddenones' summary ws very goodand concise read his can le no need to waste time read the whole book and end up lost

I loved R&J so much back in high school that I knew all the double and triple meanings of Shakespeare's words in the play and memorize the entire play to the point of knowing at which act and which scene each phrase was used.
I knew the entire play inside out and could even 'feel' emotions while reading the text of individual characters and empathize with them. Loved the nurse best!
The flash version of R&J is so cool! Love the funky words used! Makes R&J so colorful! -
