.rar extension video how to play?

  hi,
  
  i have a video file.. it is in .rar extension. i tried to play it using windows media player but cant. anybody knows what program or codec to download so that i can play the video? thanks.

  .rar is a kind of compressed (zip) file lah
  u need to unzip first
