Help! Blue screen on entering Windows!!!!

That is what I encountered,don't have any icons at all.How to solve the problem?You may ask how come I can type this thread? Well coz I click run internet explorer on Windows Task Manager which is still available.I can just let it be coz I can open all my stuff with run but a bit tedious leh

restart comp and see if it still happens
if back to normal, then good loh
if still blue screen, then something wrong loh
maybe error or s/w conflict....recall is u install something recently
if cannot boot up, good luck...... -

I can tell you for sure, your windows explorer is not up and running at bootup. In your task manager, the same place where you typed in internet explorer, type "explorer" instead.

Tried restart liao but still the same problem,could it be because of register problems? Coz i keep getting popup messages about such problems...
I can also go to windows explorer using run so can still click on all the things I want,but a bit lecce leh. -

2)system restore
if cannot
3)refomat windowXP. -
if still cannot, listen to the blue screen of death. go get a new comp

You know how to do safe mode boot? After the ram check at cmos startup, press F8 and a menu should pop up soon after, select boot up with last known good configuration.

Maybe your wallpaper is blue.

u can try putting in the xp installation disk and run system file checker and repair options...if there's no prob...it's most probably due to hardware prob...mobo, cpu, ram...

move mouse to anywhere on the screen desktop area, right click select "arrange icons by"....select "show desktop icon"
