Please Boycott SIA

Come back from oversea last week, taking SIA the first time in my life. To my surprise, i'm treated differently from the foreigners in the cabin. Request for fish n the air stewardess told me tat no fish but a japanese behind me ask the stewardess for fish instantly the reply is "YES WE HAVE IT", wat the f uck is this?? Some more i ask for blanket first, in stead the stewardess give it to the caucasian first in stead of me, some more cover for him, wat the f uck is this?? Why singapore customer service ppl always wanna be a dog to foreigners n treat local singaporean unfairly. Aren't we all the same, we all fork out the same amount of money for the service.
SIA is famous for their service but i think its only famous to foreigners only. As a local, I am treated as a second class or rather lower class customer. We fork out the same amount of money compare to the foreigner but we r treated differently from them, is this call customer service?? Tats mean my hard earn money is nothing compare to those Japanese n Caucasian??
Rather take budget airline next time, save money n most importantly everyone is equal inside regardless of race n colours of skin. -

Really? My last flight was memorable. Cabin crew gave me a goodie bag, filled with SIA stock products, such as a pens, post it pads, and 2 decks of playing cards. Before I left one of the crew even gave me 2 snoopy soft toys. Man, you must be unlucky.

i have travelled a few times on SQ but have never encountered those biased service you mentioned. not even heard anything negative about SIA from my family, friends and colleagues.

I've yet to be given poor service or unfair treatment on SIA.
Anyway, since I'm flying off with them tomorrow. I'll let you know if their service suck this time. -
They may have given me freebies, but the service was still there. This post is not meant to imply anything. I'm just going to state facts.
I was a PPS member with SIA for four years (to be a PPS member, you have to travel on either first or business class for 25 sectors per year).
Nowadays, I fly Thai Airways almost exclusively.
This is my personal choice. Enough said. -

I was discriminated before on a MAS plane not SIA whereby this stupid fat British woman keeps kicking against my chair and complains to the stewardess who asked me to behave and I told her off saying that she should ask her to stop kicking my damn chair and it's her own fault that she can't fit into the chairs
So in the end she tried pissing me off by continuing to kick my chair and I pissed her off by reclining the chair. And I talked very loudly to my friends about stupid fat people who want to sit in economy and complain about nothing. -

This leaves me only able to make comments on TG. The below is NOT a comparison between TG and any other airlines.
Pros of flying TG:
- Service is genuinely friendly, humble and not robotic.
- On a bad service flight, everyone gets bad service (not just a selected few).
- Cheaper.
- Not too bad safety record on international flights.
- Should a plane crash, its not easy to cover up due to Thailand's free media.
- They're not strongly politically backed and don't sue if you say anything bad.
- Have to transit in Bangkok first to get anywhere (which give me time for some Thai massage).
Cons of flying TG:
- Service is not as efficient.
- If your plane crashes, compensation may be lower than from richer airlines.
- Planes are not as modern, no entertainment systems in J class.
- Have to transit in Bangkok first to get anywhere else (waste time). -
too busy to notice any airline services...either sleeping, pan jio, pan sai or watching movies...

i'm a solitaire PPS. (one level higher than PPS, needs to have 5 year of PPS before getting solitaire in first/business class)
i encountner this situation before. but to be fair, it's quite rare but it exists.
sometimes, on vacation, i'm on economy class... i see such above mentioned examples happened.....
i'm not sure whether it's because of the internal slavery of being singapoeran, or chinese, or asians... -

Yeah it's very sad, locals being treated as 2nd class on their own airline.
I've encountered several similar discrimination too. Whatsmore several of my relatives all work in SIA and our family has always been very pro-SIA and always recommending it.
Now, we forgo the staff ticket and fly MAS instead...sad. Even Malaysians treat their arch-enemy better.
