To me..i think that saying Buddhism is selfish is really an unfair on your part..lets take a lok at the other point..what makes you so sure that for christianity..you are able to save the world??since when has there been any significant signs that are given by GOD that he is present?? Lets put it in another way..u are a good christian...when you die..you go to heaven..so what can you do there??how can you help the rest of the unbelievers?? nothing..in the end..you are still alone in heaven..while the rest are still in hell..so is that un-selfish??from what i see..its about the same as what you have described in buddhism...
But..but...for Buddhism..there is a cycle of reincarnation..that is..for unbelievers..or those that has not attain nirvana..there is still a chance for them in the next life...for those wrong doers...their punishments comes in the next life...everyone is responsible for their own actions....'You Ying Bi You Guo' you should understand this.. and nothing is absoulte and forever..unless you have attain enlightment..

God is in fact so forgiving my friend. That He gave His Only Son to die for you and I. He sent His own Son into Hell and then raised Him back up again, so that you and I have a chance not to go through the same fate.

Good Day HitSquad, I think a lot of us wants to control our laughter at your humourous concepts of Buddhism. Your mind seems to be poisoned too deeply. But anyway its good to challenge what we believe in, coz its the best way 2 learn. But I can understand ur predicament, maybe in past aeons u have "deep mistaken seeds" in your mental continuum that's why you are now "enjoying" the effects of your life as a Christianity. Anyway wish you good luck. (Remember wrong views and pride are the causes of sufferings...)

To answer your doubts, i will use a simple method of explaining.
"God" has different meaning based on what a person believe, your mind tells you "God" is Jesus, then to you, "God" will be that. Your own "ego" tells you what you think, believe, how you react to certain things, and it make up you. Your own perception of "life" and your every life will forge a being into you.
Imagine I would lock up a guy for life from baby, do you think he will know "God" as Jesus... the answer is no. You only believe because you heard of it, and your mind said "hey, this is the truth". And there are many humans who died who dont know christ, abortion, accident, death by birth, crazy ppl... and so on.
Please go ahead and live your life as a good christian.

As I have said, "God" has different meaning, and I think your God is Jesus. But "God" is only a term that human used. Birds used another terms, animals used other terms... "God" doesnt be your "God".
