The soundtrack for The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King -- composed, orchestrated and conducted by Academy Award-winner Howard Shore -- arrives in stores November 25.
Grammy winner Annie Lennox contributes to the soundtrack on the song "Into the West," and world-renowned musician Sir James Galway performs on several tracks.
The Return of the King soundtrack will be available as a standard CD release, and as part of a three-disc Lord of the Rings trilogy soundtrack box set.
In addition, beginning December 9 a limited edition version of the soundtrack will be available with a companion DVD featuring a 5-minute supertrailer for the trilogy and a 20- minute documentary about Howard Shore and his music for the films.

"EK Ladki Thi"
The style and arrangement is different and new age. The singing too. and the beat is synthsized via computer
The best thing are the sound effects. From the start, middle to finish . there is alwayts a new sound to be heard.
This was actually first released in some other language in 1994 and again in 2001 with dubbed into Hindi.

It was a revolution back in the early 90s to now its been mainstream. This tech whiz kid makes space age music and sound effects with an Indian feel which is hard to describe. But u can hear his samples here :

Their music is good. But it depends on whether the people are interested on it.
You don't see people buying something because it is good.
You see them buying because they THINK it is good.
Take Nokia handphones for example , everyone knows Nokia is good , but not all of them buy it.
You see them buying Samsung, LG or Motorola because they prefer it and they think its good. -

In case, he has released standalone albums "bombay dreams" , Vande MAtaram , and got that chinese movie which has a really good song in it. i think its sung by Jolin Tshai or someone but hear that music it looks exactly like those other chinese songs u hear.
AR Rahman has obviously had been following watever happening around the world in the music scene.And he makes styles as needed -

Music is subjective. Academic Grades, it can be measured through amount of right/wrongs. -

To me , i feel that SMAP songs are one of the best.
Take my nickname , check it out at a music website and listen to
" SMAP- LionHeart " mp3 song..
I think its good, but to you , it will be subjective , you might not call it good , because not everyone has the same listening ears.
