niwaeZ..i haf tried protein shakes b4..quite sux..but issit relli v useful? how quik are the visible effects?I have never tried their shaking protein.....er...protein shake before. But my friend said some quite nice, some not bad. On the average, my friend said the visible effects (including sound effects) take about 10 minutes only.
OK OK....now for the serious answer....Originally posted by allankok:wat do u all tink about guys gg often to the gym? niwaeZ..i haf tried protein shakes b4..quite sux..but issit relli v useful? how quik are the visible effects?

Guys who go to gym are just guys lor.
I'm not a body builder (in fact, I can't build too big muscles due to my sport)...but I heard they taste horrible too. Its not hard to figure out because I always see enthusiasts at the gym comparing protein drinks, etc. They even take up each other's tumblers and examine the colour of the contents, etc.Never heard good reviews.
I think protein supplements can be useful (I use a milder form called Tau Hway Chui). But it would also depend on how you channel the protein towards muscle building. If you take in too much and don't work out enough or correctly....you may be inputting too much energy into your system.
Visible effects is a bit hard to describe accurately. Logically, it would vary from person to person....and workout methods, etc.
Estrogen, the female sex hormone?? Geee...never heard that one before. No wonder I'm starting to look at guys recently...Originally posted by Simple_Bear:Juz a reminder, soy protein according to some research contain some chemicals which mimic the effects of estrogen...![]()
