Best collection for life-time?

  which one are the best movie for collection?
  
  Starwar? LOTR? Matrix?..etc
  
  *for collection mean buying ORIGINAL DVD(might cost bomb).

  i would say all are good collections.. it depends on what kinda movie liker u are.. those ancient kind.. or virtual reality kind.. or galactic.. etc

  I think non of these trilogies are perfect.
  
  Star Wars I-VI - First 2 were bad, 3rd was redeeming, but last 3 were brilliant. Overall inconsistent in quality. Lucas spent 28 years planning episode 1-3 and all he could do was mediocre.
  
  Matrix Trilogy - First one was brilliant, 2nd and 3rd was a downhill spiral. It complicated itself too much with all the mumbo jumbo and tried too hard to show off the latest gfx.
  
  LOTR - Excellent, consistent piece of work. But lacking to Tolkien fans, as they find it too concised and certain things wrong (etc. gimli being a clown and legolas single handledly slay an oliphaunt)
  
  But overall i think LOTR is the best.

  isnt legolas singlehandedly slay an Oliphaunt in the book as well? I read the book a few years ago but I cant remember clearly.
  
  and anyways, legolas is supposed to be super powerful, more powerful than aragorn, or Gimli or pretty much anyone in terms of fighting, if you read the books.

  i got the Matrix 10 disc DVD boxset, the 3 Lord of the Rings movies on extended DVD and the Star War trilogy DVD boxset.
