How to stop that persistent cough?

I have coughing non-stop.... tried drinking honey, warm water... rubbed vicks, etc. still no use...
anyone out there with an effective remedy? -

went to see doc... but the medication not working too well... any temp solution to stop the cough? -

eh try to tahan ur cough... the moment u start coughing u will keep coughing because u irritate ur throat....
so everytime when i sleep i forget about cough already then when i woke up i have totally recovered... -
there's a type of herb call Kou Cao...very very effective....

If you dare... take few drops or axe oil before you sleep. This one I try before ... when I had non stop coughing.. last resort to a frustration!

i once had a very serious sore throat. i visited the doctor at least 4 times. in the end i was given a dozen lozenges the doctor claimed to be the strongest and most expensive. i recovered.
sometimes it is like this. the virus just refused to go away. try drinking lots and lots of water. -
drink coconut water.

go chinese medical hall and ask them do they have a powder form of med for cough, it some kind of powder that mix with drink.. very good ..

erm.... i know breast milk got lots of antibodies but i doubt they will be more effective than yours and thats assuming the antibodies manage to get into your body in the first place.Originally posted by Troy437:My neighbour had the same problem.
