crow's crying...

this morning when i woke up, i heard this crow crying outside my bedroom's window...and it was crying damn loud...then i heard from my mum that if you hear a crow crying, it means that someone's else you know will pass away...
i was damn shocked at that moment, because i remember that one of my friend's mum is diagnosed with cancer...and i think it is late stage...
i am damn sad now cos that he is my good friend...can anyone tells me whether this crow crying which signifies that someone you know is dying is true?

Well hearing a crow cry doesn't necessary mean there will be death however it is not a good omen either. Intutitively i feel its more of a sign & warning of sorrow which might occur concerning your family or loved ones. Not everything is an omen, at times you become overly involved in some matters that somehow makes you overly worried. Cheer up, chin up too, don't be sad.

but my friend is really very poor, his mother is dying lor...he is still 16 leh...somemore our o level is coming so it must really be hard on him... -
