Cousin wants 2 study in SIM while in NS

Any guys here had done part ime study before in NS can help

My cousin is a timid type and he says he is hesistant to approach his seniors.

possible, can even apply for nights off/stayout to go for lessons but i not sure about the doctrine maybe you need to ask the docu clerk or somethign about it

To study full-time, your cousin must apply disruption (possible for oversea University but not very sure if local can apply for), my friend have apply it before for oversea so he must apply as early as possible to get review by the top before they hand the report to his manpower officer

Will not extend his ORD loh but why not finish NS first then fully concentrate on study?

Cert is still most important to apply for position requirement but previous job experience require...either take up full/temp/part-time job for 1-2 year or get school to apply internship during school day is recommend...

For me, I have two more month to finish my NS and never have to re-service...hurray, then I take up full/part-time computing diploma course, very easy for me...because I'm very familiar in computing but still a bit hard without previous job experience loh...apply for job agency and waiting, waiting, waiting...

Part-time in SIM?

Very easy...apply personally without wasting official paper...guy know what I mean???

Is your cousin stay-in camp? Ask your cousin to request his B.S.M and 1 or 2 bosses (Buay ta-han Senior Mentor? Sorry I don know what it stand for) to let him time-off but stay-out is not possible if the night-class end around 10+ pm, still got time to come back to camp...unless he is *officer*, as long as he is active soldier no matter what reason...can forget about stay-out (it not possible in my camp)

So just finish NS first lah, then can concentrate on study liao, also another part of SMU (not SIM) education center will be open near Bugis MRT sometime this year...new faculity and near shopping...woa! But I going to MDIS in computer course...

BTW, how recognise is SIM and MDIS cert for local company, I wish to know that...

It a little hot topic to discuss about opt for stay-out...to some of the newbie NSF.

Last thing...about stay-out

Unless you got official letter from hospital that is not recommend to stay-in, submit it to medical-in-charge to write report to top and your officer, it depend from case to case...

Lot of time I learn it better to stay-in so that we can be more awake in the morning but less personal time to spent...oh 5 working days a week is a best thing for us already, don mind to stay-in as time will pass very fast if you fully concentrate on work life, one of my friend said, "Everyday, I eat, sleep, eat, sleep, eat, sleep, eat, sleep, eat, sleep, eat, sleep, eat, sleep, till I ORD and don know what job can I find...", now he got part-time only...

So apply job interview before you ORD ok then save time...use leave application...that is how my NS life was very different from others NSF haha...very relax here like vacation...yawn...very tired looking and typppiinggg.........(do-ainnnn)

I had asked him. He said its a stay -in or some sort like that.
And he is not officer

But he is 19 only kind of scaredy cat lah. All the time his parent have to take care of him

Sorry, the new SMU not SIM be open near Bugis MRT, I think...

too good to be 19...I'm now 23...cannot afford to study poly for another 3 years to waste time...so take up private and advance course...

but it not easy loh...if everyone like him to stay-out for part time course then who will protect our camp if anything happen like catch fire or thief...ya thief will be among friend too...don leave any vaulable open...

if can tell us his wich is his camp ar...den can noe wether is stay-out/in liao...
hes gonna change his attitude le...else in army surely gets eaten up de...theres always some spoiled seeds in an organisation...

studyin in ns can b done of cos...if he can cope up wif it. anyway, before applying...ask him to put on his courage n discuss wif his immediate superior ba...
