just watched starwars last night.
1) felt that episode 4,5,6 are better in terms of battle scenes. I have complaint on the battle at beginning of the movie, it's just too childish and too complicat, no focus at all.
The battel scenes are too complicated, too many things happned at the same time making you dunno where to look. The lasers shot by battleships are too small and less powerful. At least, i think the japanese cartoon manages the scenes better. in addition, the design of the batteships is also not nice.
2) I see Obiwan is the main character in this show. I think he overshadow anakin. Obiwan is played by Ewan Mcgregor who also stars in Moulin Rouge as Christian. No wonder so handsome and have a magnetic voice although he is covered by all the makeup to make him look old.
3) skywalker and obiwan fought at volcano. the scene is very nice.... dun think Lucas can make such a powerful scene 10 years ago.
4) skywalker turned to dark side too easily. Wah!!! once you decided to be bad guy, the next hour, you can kill all the young Jedi kids liao..

I am not sure whether Anakin turned evil because of his greed for more power or because he wants to save his wife from death...
But I this movie is worth watching, it is better than the 2nd episode, which I felt was a bit dull

The abstract at the start gave a very clear overview of where the story kicks off, provided you understood.
Only one thing happened at that time, they were heading to save the chancellor. Small fire? errrrrrr, they may be small, but overwhelming in numbers. Battleships not nice, well its a galaxy long long ago far far away, nothing to expect much of. -

i kinda feel that the third episode was rushed? like luca had enough material for episode 3.1 if he needed. maybe cuz of the earlier annoucement that the first three were 4,5,6, so this had to be 1,2,3. else, i was thinking there might have been more left untold.

I like the toys, esp action figures.
Nowadays they make it look like the actual character in the movies.
But I only get them during discount. You will be surprise the figures just became $5/- from $17.90 to clear stock at Metro, Taka etc. -

Last time when I watched episode 2 in London, people clapped when the opening music started. Here nobody clapped. So sad...

Lucas had 28 years to write and he came up with mediocre ep 1 , 2 and (to a certain extent) 3. He should have cut the useless crap like jar jar, darth maul and general grevious stuff and combine all 3 episodes into a solid 3 hr movie.
