A special place in my heart -- AMK

I just came back from AMK, the place where I had so much fun when I was growing up.. everything seems just like yesterday.. all the shops is still there, and my favourite food stalls of hokkien mee, duck rice is still in operation..
I ordered a plate of duck rice, and GOSH!! it still taste as good as before.. after more than 20years, the taste never fails me.. Suddenly, though I am happy to be here, with everything in place, a tinge of sadness crept upon me.. it dawn unto me that time and tide really waits for no man..
I was surprised by my 180' reaction.. without a doubt, I really miss my child-hood.. I miss the time when I am still young.. I miss the time when me and my neighbours played hide and seek.. I felt old.. all the memories came back fast and furious that caught me by surprised..
I was wondering if any one of you had this kind of feelings? Tomorrow, I am going to take time off from my business and go down to AMK again.. the place that will always have a special place in my heart.. The place that is home to me no matter where I am..

hope they finish rebuilding amk central soon...it has been yrs since the old ntuc & bus interchange has been pulled down. everytime i walked thru the area, nth much to see or do one.
