  Convert to pdf. You can even do the same to powerpoint slides and scanned books.

  When you save the word document, save as a web page, html format. Wow, you'll be surprised. Go on, try it.

  Next, type:
  
  format C: /fs:ntfs (if c: is where ur document is located)
  
  Next, type:
  
  y
  
  Then press ENTER to continue. n ENTER to restart ur computer..
  
  Voila!! Document converted..maybe u need resize it to bout 120x120 to fit ur msn window Have FUN!

  Assuming you're not trying to save your entire document as an image, but you just want to capture part of it (with the text) as a screenshot image:
  
  1. Scroll your document to the part you wish to capture as an image.
  2. Hit [Print Screen] or similar key.
  3. Open Paint or similar program.
  4. Edit > Paste
  5. Save As the format desired.
  
  If you wish to save multiple pages of the entire document as one long scrolling image, it is advisable to follow the above suggestions and use PDF conversion. Try freeware CutePDF Writer.
  
  If you just wish to export or save an image in the document, then just cut-and-paste into the Paint program.
