Pri6 boy delays PSLE to learn chess

Found this in today's straits times...duno y he go and study chess..
he can finish PSLE and learn chess during sec1...wat a waste of precious time

lol lame, last time in pri6 I was spending all my time playing computer games, if that guy spends as much time learning chess as I did playing computer games, he would be a very good chess player. but too bad for him, I can also finish PSLE unlike him

and the game whoa kaoz so cheem, what tab the card, what graveyard and dunno what the hell. the last time I played something 1/10 as cheem, was civilisation 3. you take the difficulty of that game times 10, you get magic the gathering. -

OOooh, when I was in Pri 6, I was sitting in front of the TV watching drama serials and chatting on ICQ, MIRC, Yahoo Messenger and MSN. LOL. Oh yeah, and learning how to cheat my father of money.

Who knows.... ten years down the road he might poking fun at the whole lot of us while beating the crap out of Garry Kasparov. After all, success is not all about PSLE => O Levels => A Levels => NUS degree. It also has to do with making the most out of life.
That said, I hope his studies don't suffer. -

anyway what he is doing is good, if he succeed we can say he made a right choice and be proud that we got a chess champion in sinapore that never loses. if not one less competitor for you guys mah. but hor how come must skip psle? not like need to study alot for it one as theg uys b4 said we spent 2 or 3 times the time playing rather than studyign for it.
