Hmmm before u get confused..there are 2 types of digital camera...
1) Digital Still Camera (mainly used to take still pictures)
2) Digital Video Camera aka Camcorders (mainly used to take video)
Note: When i said mainly, that's because they can be used to perform each other's functions as well..Digital Still Camera can be used to take video and vice versa..however the quality wont be as good.
