For studying in Australia Universities, is it good to go for Foundation Year (Pre-University) first? What are the benefits and bad on foundation year?
Anyone have went for Foundation Studies in University before? Care to share with me? -

It's good if you want or need a headstart before you start professional studies in full swing. It's bad because that means extra number of months spent taking foundation studies, and hence additional cost.

i don't think its useful or at least that what my friends told me, why waste time? just do it!

Some foundation studies are recognised, especially if you take them at an affiliated college of the university..
e.g Taylors College and UWA.I think.. -
my brother is doing his foundation studies in Trinity College now.

Some of you are right.. For example, I applied for UNSW Foundation Studies. If pass, then I will be able to get a course in UNSW.
I understand that is wasting time and money. But for me, no choice. Because my local results are not that good. Have to do foundation before going to Year 1 Uni. -
