HDB still don't want to remove resale levy.

  After reading the article in the papers, my blood really boil.The purpose of the levy was to prevent speculation.Now with the economy so bad, they still want to bleed us dry.

  Govt only knows how to make profit from people.
  
  Imagine if you bought a HDB flat (4 or 5 room flat) at $300K with grant of $30,000. After 5 yrs, you wanna upgrade and you have to cough up
  
  4 - room (22.5% levy) = $67,500
  5 - room (25% levy) = $75,000
  
  to return to government (if the price of the flat remains unchanged)
  
  4 - room = 125% profit for govt for their investment of $30K on you
  5 - room = 150% profit for govt for their investment of $30K on you
  
  Easy money for govt!!! Short period of investment (5 yrs), huge profit!!!!
  
  Imagine all your hard-earned money goes to govt just because of this stupid policy!
