what about the female?Originally posted by the Bear:if you have them from young, they shouldn't...
but this family of birds are pretty intelligent so you have to spend a lot of time interacting with the bird..
males get pretty possessive and may attempt to chase away anyone who tries to come close to you

Yup, my mom kept one before. Very cute and I sort of grew up with it.Originally posted by the Bear:yeah.. probably...

Depends on the colour mutation, whether it is handfed or parent fed.Originally posted by GaLtwenty:it costs $80 for the baby.
Good price?
looks like the pictures there
yeah you have to make sure you remember to spend time with it! i bought a baby cocky once too, and you know, syringe fed it, played with it and all. it became very attached to us. it would even behave like a dog, making a big fuss whenever someone came home, and it would not stop till we let it out of the cage for a flight around the place.Originally posted by HENG@:ooooo! reminds me of my pet cockatiel. hes a lovely lil thing. haha, a bit of a coward and scared of flying, sometimes very noisy when its seeking attention. Remember to spend some time with it each day, as it enjoys the company of its owner. I swear that bird is more human than some humans.
