They did assure me that no money transaction is involved. And it is not a time-sharing scheme.Originally posted by gentlerock:I've had many of these calls too. I just politely pushed them off.
Its all a scam. Its been known that when you appear at their office, they will ask you to attend some long talk and in the end, tell you that you can only get your prize if you sign up for some membership or something first (and of course you have to pay lah).

Well, "money transactions" and "time-sharing schemes" are NOT the only ways to get payments from you....Originally posted by PoRen:They did assure me that no money transaction is involved. And it is not a time-sharing scheme.
simple...tell them that since i won it, why not just send a notification letter to me so that i can go down to claim the prize?Originally posted by PoRen:I got a call the other day that I have won a ticket for 1-nite stay at Sentosa or Thailand or M'sia (up to me to choose).
I have to go down to their office at Al-Dephi (near Hard Rock Cafe) at an appointed time. The caller assure me that no money need to be paid but I have to give some personal particulars over the phone. Then they will reveal the address of their office to collect the prize.
The caller said it was from some entry I had given at some supermarkets but it was too long ago, so can't say which supermarket it was.
I did not go down anyway and I did not give my personal particulars.

say tat b4, but they insist tat we must come down personallyOriginally posted by waattaa!:just say thank you, and ask them to send the prizesay u will pay for postage! HEH
Go down to collect personally is logical but why dun have notification letter? Phone call is not a valid contract but a notification letter from them is.Originally posted by makiko:say tat b4, but they insist tat we must come down personally
