  Er... if the content of the cheque is like this, does it count as a cash cheque?

  as long as u dun cross it, u can collect cash from the bank when u hand this cheque to them..

  u can't drop it into the cheque deposit box - no guarantee that ur chq would be banked-in... hee hee.
  
  present over the counter of the respective bank and get CASH on the spot = CASH CHQ purpose!!!
  
  DO NOT cross cheque, DO NOT cross bearer.

  There are two main ways to write a cheque:
  
  - crossed cheque
  - cash cheque
  
  For crossed cheque, your name is on it. So even if you drop it, no one will be able to do anything with it. When you deposit the cheque to the bank, the bank will put the money in your account.
  
  For cash cheque, it represent (and is equivalent) to cash. You go to the bank and exchange it for cash. If you drop it, anyone else can go to the bank and exchange it for cash too.

  Make sure the person who signed the cheque does not cross out "bearer", if not you'd never get to smell the cash in your account (unless of course, your name happens to be "CASH".)

  once the corner is // (crossed) you have to bank it into an account and the Pay: have to have a name.
  
  You can go to any bank and check if u can cash the cash cheque but likelyhood you might not thn it's a useless cheque you are holding.

  actually hor...even if the cheque is x...you still can get cash from the bank...the impt thing is whether the cheque bears your name or other people's name

  Not very sure, but very sure if you take a black or blue pen and draw a straight line from the bottom left to top right corner of it, you won't get anything.

  cash cheque only mean : cheque write 'CASH' on the bearer.
  
  that all , no cross no nothing. who also can collect CASH from the bank counter.
  
  if 'cash cheque' got crossed , it automatic turn to 'cross cheque'.
