  yeah i wrap my books. but sometimes not enough money i buy second hand books or borrow from library.
  
  germs will always be there...
  
  maybe the cashier go toilet din wash hands, then happily pick your book and pop in into the bag hehehehehe then how?

  they think it's a "playground for crap" only because they use books to wipe...

  Books have been scientifically proven to host an array of bacteria, and .. maybe you should pick up a book and find out yourself, boor.

  Actually, if you think of the pros and cons of a book. the pros are much more than the cons. Besides, who actually died after reading a book? I am running a little 2nd-hand bookselling business, have at least 200 books in my room right now, read at least 1 book every 2 weeks and here i am, still healthy.
  
  If you want to talk about bateria, Money change hands more than books. why not give me all your money so you wont get sick? Boleh?

  i always wrap books (just bought) that i like with clear plastic. i'm very skilled in wrapping books.

  I only wrap books that I intend to keep for life... anyway I am lousy at wrapping books.
  
  I do not mind second-hand books unless they are really torn and tattered but if the book interest me, I buy it nonetheless.

  i dun wrap my books at all.
  
  most of the time, i will even discard the outer sleeves.

  kinokuniya plastic bags very low quality.
  
  it smudges your hands.

  if ur really paranoid, u can always microwave ur books for a few minutes..
  
  books can carry bacteria, but bacteria needs moisture n nutrients, which books are unsuited for. They produce toxins, usually enterotoxins.. which can be fatal..but only if u digest them... also..i dun think anyone would like to eat books anyway...
