Virus help!!!

  anybody knows or have any tool to remove w32.linkbot.com?
  
  it is a sasser worm.

  dont understand why they dont have something more simple.
  
  i ran the norton virus scanner and it took about 4 hrs.

  I think norton antivirus sucks, thats why I don't use it.

  w32.linkbot has many variants. which one u referring to?
  if u have a lot of files or slow comp...sure slow one...
  doesn't mean u leave it, it won't disturb u...

  I dunno anyone who would actually find system restore useful. It takes more than 1gb of memory to do a system backup dependant on your system. Its not 100% foolproof backup plan either. And the best method of preventing stupid viruses is not to touch suspicious items. I know, I know, not experienced enough.

  why is the sgforum administrator always asking me 'to allow cookies' before allowing me to log in.
