Sony's DCR-HC32E or DCR-DVD 602E or JAV's Gr-D290?
Can these be downloaded into the PC for storage? How about comments on the DCR-DVD that records onto the DVD direct?
Any comments on other good models pricing around $1K?
I've had a panasonic 3CCD, PV-GS70 with the Leica lens for about a year now and it seems to be bullet proof ! If you dont mind waiting a while you may want to get a camera that has no moving parts (all on chip) Make sure what ever you get that it has a dv-out for FIREWIRE attachment, USB is just soooo slooow..
I researched them for two months before I parted with any cash !
