  Fwah! 10kb/s upload, you sure are one generous guy. Your listening port set to what number, your router also got to open that number. Wrong longkang closed, water will be stagnant.

  For download speed u can set to 0 (it means unlimited).. u dun need to set 10 for upload speed..u can actually set less while still mantaining the upload speed of 0 ...which techincally is 1000+++ anyway...
  
  realistically...ru really gona get 1000kb download speed?

  If he sets upload to 0 (which it means unlimited) means his upload can go as fast as his connection can upload, it'll choke his down stream. He put 1000 download speed, technically he cannot of course , but its just a limit thingie, actually he can put 0.

  The reason torrents are hard to use is because every com has a different ideal setting, and you need to play around with the settings till you find something good. You can never get best, coz you're technically always trying.

  erm..so ur just tellin him to use 0 anyway? personally i dont put 0 myself. I usually put single digits due to flunctuating net bandwiths

  For his upload, 0 would be good, at least we know someone's sharing. D/l, put 0 also, coz we never know when a day will be a good day.
