a guy fren of mine who is into such stuff told me that everyone has a soul and this soul is immortal but just jumps bodies. Then it assumes the characteristics of the bodies but retains some of itself from its past life. So in theory watever problems strenght weakness and thoughts we expereince in this life is a reluctance of the soul to forego its past characterisitcs.sort of dilemna when it finds itself in a different situation.
for example someone who was a leader or king in his past life may carry forward some of the same qualitites in this life and depending on the situation and circumstances, the negative or positive outcome of his life may turn out according to these factors.
But the experiences of this life may alter some of the qualities which someone are already born with -

I had recurrent dreams of being in a old shopping center/hotel, the people inside looked to be the 70s/80s.And everytime i would be lost in one way or another.Then the escalators seemed to go on forever, although the next level would just be there.I could never reach the top.
Another dream I had was in a crumbling building where the carpark ramps ended in mid-air, somehow one part of the building had collapsed from war.It definitely did not seem to be in Singapore. -

I've had this fascination with New York ever since I was 9 or 10.And I would always look for photobooks about NYC till today, always looking for some buildings...but I never really knew what I was looking for..Even during JC, I chose to study the rejuvenation of Harlem very much indepth for Geography.
Somehow I feel drawn to NYC.Is this counted? -
