There are SO MANY of US... We can either just watch them happen (like the people with their arms folded) or try to do SOMETHING about it...?Originally posted by Ayla:I'm shaken by the news too... What can we do? There are truely such inhuman bastards on Earth...
It's TOO NORMAL.Originally posted by OMG!!!:it's normal leh.
the world as we know it, is made up by the people that we are.Originally posted by mistyblue:I think its lame excuse to say that the world is like this therefore people should become like this.
nothing too splendid about ending her own life. someone innocent. someone who was a victim of inhumanity..Originally posted by mach10:The Driver did a splendid thing.
diff people have diff mindsets, but think about it. would you(assuming ur on the bus and didnt help) be able to carry on with ur life normally even if u didnt die? wouldnt u feel guilty?Originally posted by DriftingGuy:You know whats even scarier? Whats even scarier is that anyone of us could be on that bus... its sickening but perhaps given this kind of situation would you have helped the bus driver auntie? Questions like what if the thugs kill you etc etc...
Theres no real answer for this...![]()
Assuming i survive the bus crash, i would definitely feel guilty. And I will wonder at the lack of my initiative to help... but if the same situation happen again would I help? Definitely I will...Originally posted by mystiv:diff people have diff mindsets, but think about it. would you(assuming ur on the bus and didnt help) be able to carry on with ur life normally even if u didnt die? wouldnt u feel guilty?

Frank, but at least a little more intelligent.Originally posted by tut4nkh4m3n:it just a sense of good in yourself and i guess many have lost that already. i may have lost some in myself to be honest but i believe not all yet.
but when it comes to that kind of situation, i think i'll still help the lady driver. just think of the odds, even if you live the bus ride, you will not come back without getting raped, beaten up, with no money, or not come back at all. chances are slim to come back "safe and sound" so i'll just help. if i manage to succeed, YAY, if not, i'll get harmed sooner or later, why not just sooner.
but all this is not true courage and "warrior-ism" it's still being selfish. you think of what's going to happen to yourself before you decide to act, well but at least it's able to get me to help.
