Overseas Education - Australia or Canada?

  Need some opinions here...
  
  If you had the choice between studying at a University of either Country, which would you choose and why?

  Canada, because there's a lower chance I'll get firebombed there.

  I supposed should be Canada then. Since we've been hearing news about Australia and how a biological package got delivered to the embassy of indonesia...I suppose since there's no news from Canada, you won't know if they're burning asians at the stake until you arrive there. But even so, I think you still can always make your way back to Singapore provided you've bought a return ticket instead of a single ticket.

  What about old Quebec? The cobblestone walk inside the Fort? When in Montreal, did you go up north to Mont Tremblant? It's the Whistler of the East.

  Like Whistler, and Lake Louise. Not cold lah, -20 degrees celcius in the late morning only. Steams even when you take a piss in the open.

  Australia...cheaper and somehow i feel better there, having been to both countries before. Interesting you ask because these were the two choices offered to me by my parents once before.
  
  I didn't want to go to Canada because it was way too cold when i went there, Vancouver in the winter is colder than your freezer. Also, its pretty much more expensive than Australia. I guess the only reason they gave me Canada as an alternative choice to Australia is because of the recomendations of their friends, who are incidentally, Canadians...

  I'm from Vancouver. Whatever you want to know, ask me. Don't listen to anyone who's been here once in their life time and complain about the weather. If you think Vancouver is cold, wait til you head east or north. You don't know cold until you have spend a winter in the prairies. Fyi, it's the only place in the world where you go skiing in the rockies then drive to the city and change to minimum winter wear. Long sleeve stuff. Anyways, once you get used to the cooler temperature, it's nothing.

  Yeah, we've got a different line just for Asians at the Vancouver Int'l Airport. This line will lead you to a back room where you are interrogated and strip searched. You are given a quick test, those who qualify to enter the country are given a strip tease as an intoduction to the adult entertainment industry. Those who don't qualify are given a colonostamy, where no drugs will be given or the camera will not be removed. Then they are tagged before being sent on a bus to concentration camps where they are eventually burnt on the stake.

  Thanks... for the insight. I applied for some Unis in Australia... but my heart has always been with Canada...
