  As a parent myself, I don't think it's a good idea. You may wish to discuss with them about how you feel about it. I think you are entitled to your privacy as long as you know your limitations and responsibilities. Why would they want to know so much? Sometimes, things are better left unknown. That's how I feel. I should display trust in my son's judgement.

  Then they will argue back with...Im your parent and I have a right to know what you are doing when Im not in the house...after all, parents own the house not the child.

  the issue does not lie with me. Its my brother's bloody fault. He keeps failing every damn test and exams and my parents wonder what he is doing at home when they are working. They want to see where he hide his homework in the house. So they thought of installing webcams all over the place and link it up to their office so that they can spy.....and one of the place which they propose to install happens to be my bedroom

  I didnt do anything. Because now got PC show 2005...then they thought of buying some webcams and install in the house so as to find out what my brother is doing. It just so happen that Im somehow invovled in it as well...

  Ok. Put it this way. Lets say my parents decide to install the cameras in the house. I cant do anything to damage the cameras because any tampering done to the cameras would be an admission of guilt or an intention to do something "bad".
