Worth it to sign up 2 years singnet plan ?

  Now I am using 512 speed singnet plan and the contact is over. I want to recontact my plan now because now they offer a Ipod shuffle 512 but you still have to sign up 2 MORE YEARS. wah, that's pretty long huh ? do you guys think is worth it ? give opinion ~ thanks ~

  512's connection may be out of date in the future, judging from the increase in speeds (1500, 3500...)
  
  ask yourself are u a online gamer or not? what do u use the net for besides coming to sgforums.com.
  
  every internet provider has their pros and cons and the day they break down in service.

  No more xbox offers. They now give out free HP ipaq or 17" LCD screen.

  Be careful when reading the terms. Their ipod shuffle package might be for new sign ups only.
  
  WHen I tried to recontract 1 years ago, they said that loyal customers have nothing, just that the price is slightly lower. Just slightly.
  
  Now I'm on Pacnet. But again, not for long.

  Ipod shuffle will be given as well if you recontract yr plan but have to recontract for 2 years. Recontract for 1 year , they will give you a thumbdrive 128 mb watch..

  My sugguestion is to keep the money with you. Rather than pay them for the plan to get the shuffle, might as well contract 1 year and go buy the shuffle.
  
  Or maybe you don't even need the shuffle at all.

  I upgraded to the 1500 plan, they gave me a Sony Ericsson K508i.Don't mind the 2 yr contract but anything more I would not sign.
  
  Anyway, it's not as if I'll be leaving the country anytime within the next two years hehe.

  when download movies and DVD it depends on how fast the server on the other end will tweak their streaming speeds.......when playing FSP online games it depends on how close your connection is to the game server or 'ping' value you can obtain...i say sign up for another 2 years and get the 3 months' free subscription get the other free hardware freebies and sell it off to a fren/ potiential buyer or cash converters.
