At first, I tot my fren really got the 'look' when he was approached and i encouraged him to go join.
He rejected them immediately, and told me afterwards that they are just model agency which expects u to pay for the portfolio they create for you after the photoshoot and all that stuff.
Dont be easily conned into this man. Check out what they really want first. -

Anyway, I'll only trust if a representative or HR exec from the company that's seeking your services come see you. e.g. My gf was approached by Anna Sui and Zara's marketing dept to model for them.
I mean everyone likes to feel good, hey, I look @ myself every morning and go "HEY! YOU SHOULD BE MODEL!", ya, poster boy for slimming centres "BEFORE & AFTER" ads .. mainly "BEFORE".
Irritating they are .. but hey fark it, there's so much more crap in Singapore. We've got Steven Lim & XiaXue, having to live with them means we can live with anything

This reminds me of the time i went orchard ...
On my way to Far East Shopping Center (FESC) to buy stuff, I walked past the burger king (ezone one) and the was this BK boy (i think at most 17 yrs old nia) giving out those bk pamphlets for discounts. I thought it would be nice to have BK for dinner ...
So I walked past him ONCE. He didn't give me the pamphlet. I went on to buy my stuff, but discover the shop dun accept NETs. So i went outside to draw money.
On the way to draw money, I walked past him again. He didn't give me the pamphlet.
After withdrawing my money, I walked past him once again on the way back to FESC. He still didn't give me the pamplet.
After I bought my stuff. This time I walked RIGHT BESIDE him. I even slowed down when I was near him.
THE BUGGER STILL DUN WANT TO GIVE ME
Y ? coz the idiot only give the pamphlet to chiobus, chio OLs. The rest of the world is invisible. -
