will be going down to hk with parents this coming week
and because i didnt have time to search the webbie for info
please help me out..
I'm staying at park hotel , Tsimshatsui, so preferably that it wont be extremely out in district..

take MTR to mongkok for lu bian tan and shopping

if shopping, too much place to mention......
MongKok(clothes, sport shoes, digital products, hp+acc., toys, and too many thing else)
also check out TsimShaTsui,TongLuoWan(forgot the english name), WanChai areas.
If you have the time to go NT, Shatin has a series of Shopping center connected together by "New Town Plaza". You will find the new "Snoopy theme park" there nearby also.
If just sight seeing,
OceanPark(standard one la,must go if havent go b4), Lantau Island(temple, Budda statue), Chek Chu, etc. if have time, go to SaiGong and take a look, those professional photographer like to take photo there.

The best is have a local friend or relative to bring you to watever place u want.

ya.. no need to go by taxi. Most of the tourist location are just next to MTR stations (like Wong tai sin). buy the Octapus card at the MTR station loh.
For shopping, I like Causeway bay (tong luo wan) and Mongkok's Walking street (Nu ren jie). Tsimshatsui is more for the food ba..
Rem to try the Mango desserts at the Xu Liu Shan!!

The prices are not cheap, as their standard of living is high.. Go for their products, but not their prices. As for travelling, Buses are also a good choice as they are cheaper than MTR, less crowded, and very nice to take
