the only last wish from Pope John Paul II, burn his personnal notes.
but Stanislaw Dziwisz(John Paul II's personal secretary), the person suppose doing this job decide to change his mind after examined carefully all those notes and request to keep for posterity (or be made available to the public) .
he say he hoped they might even be published and help in the process of John Paul being made a saint.
what your view toward this matter as Stanislaw Dziwisz also the most faithful friend of John Pual.

thought i only half understand what those popes are doing, but probably the new pope feels the notes are useful to the public and shan't burnt off like that?! and of course, sort of not fulfilling the wish of the late pope, but we should look at the greater picture and benefits the mass right?!
