oh i didn't know there's an old and new syllabus for O level English... what's the difference between the 2?

The older one is supposedly easier.
But I say there is no difference.

Old one - 1 or no argumentative essay, alot towards story telling type.
New one - Almost all question on argumentative essay, only 1 essay on story telling.Story telling compo known as "person recount" which means at the end of your compo, you must have a coda.
Hmm..personally I like the old one, theres more room to write and express..The new one you gota read alot of news to sort of prepare yourself for the essays..and the person recount type is tough but scoreable if you cant do the argumentative ones.

seriously.. just read more books.. and please use the dictionary if you have trouble with the meanings of the words.. thats for overall english.. and for comprehension.. just get some good papers from other schools etc for good practice..
