do we think the same of labourers who work under the sun the whole day, building our flats and offices, and then take the public transport in the evening still sweating and all? their contributions are no less important right?
anyway there are reasons why recruits are made to book out in smart 4, why people are not supposed to don their uniforms and go shopping, hold hands with galfriends, smoke, and why booking out in civilian is recommended. the image of the SAF is important, and these are what contributes to it. without a proper image, there will be a lack of support (e.g. ppl who takes a negative view of NSFs when they appear in public), and no support means a weakened defense. -

The problem is with this country lah, so small , flat so small, not really democratic and sometimes can't even vote for years, how to give 100% in this condition?
