I would speak for myself and for the forums.
Your phrasing of question is weird. You can do both you know ? And forums are meant to be avenue of discussion anyway. And I have people pointing at me before. No big deal -

I believe when you say Sgforums, you mean those messages posted on the website. These are “user problems”, “users inputs”, “your inputs” and “my inputs”.
If you (user) post rubbish then majority of the forumates in Sgforums will criticize you for the rubbish you posted. This mean you are OPENLY and PUBLICLY CRITICIZED by the MAJORITY (forumates of Sgforums).
Logically, Sgforums can never be in that position (user).
If you refer to OPENLY and PUBLICLY CRITICIZED by the MAJORITY as from the Authorities, then they are just exercising censorship for the good of the nation and humanity!
Those in the Authorities are very sensible and they will go after the "users" who are giving troubles.
Many such "users" are in the "news" lately. -

First of all, I take it that the “them” you are referring to are those in Authorities keeping tab on the contents on the websites. My feeling (guess) is that they have a job to do. Looking at the contents (statements) the “users” are putting on the websites for all to see. Looking at the way “users” are being investigated, challenged (threatened?), councilled, guided by those in Authorities, which were reported in the “news” lately. I have to come to the conclusion that those in Authorities are very sensible for going after the “users” and not the websites that hosted them.
We know absolute power corrupt absolutely. So do recognize that no “user” has absolute freedom of speech or expression. There is also no absolute OB marker as such. The “reasonableness”, “sensibleness” etc are changing everyday. Casino is coming (under the name of IR), Crazy Horse is coming to town …
Thus it may be a perception that some see censorship by those in Authorities is for the good of the nation and humanity, and some see it as for the good of their self-interest. Time may change our opinion. Again on seeing what is happening “now”, I tend to believe they are working for the good of the nation and humanity. -
