in my organisation, it is...
coz like a lot of places, we've been conned by the con-men-sultants into doing a lot of unnecessary and, frankly, things detrimental to our organisation...
for no gain whatsoever...
actually, in one of the latest stupidities embarked by my organisation, the people could not answer a simple question posed by me.. and the whole thing erupted into an ugly scene... the people pushing the stupidity made a report that we are very negative.. and guess who will die for it?

if not picture the scenario in your mind..would your colleagues / people who will be taking part in the teambuilding be able to arrange a dept get together as a grp? -
Ahh....sounds familiar. Everytime a new initiative is pushed out by management we're supposed to wave pom poms. Anyone who says the dreaded "exactly why are we doing this?" is labelled as being negative and not a team player.

noticed that abt 1/2 actually mentioned 'benefits' that are not benefits in the actual context...
does this imply that companies these days are not meeting the needs of their employees?
for myself...i find that the benefits are not 'tailored' to me..its generic for everyone...
for example one of the benefits that i would like to have may be in the form of medical and annual leave
i seldom consume mc...for keeping myself healthy and saving company $, i would appreciate if company can reward me say by offering me gym memberships, vouchers...giving me a 'healthy fund' to buy items related to health...,
as for annual leave..since it cannot be encashed...i would it to be instead encashed and donated to a charity of my choice...
just 2 examples....what sort of benefits would u feel u would want if u have a choice in policy making -

compensating us for what leave we cannot consume (it's hard to take leave when we're criminally understaffed)
