Anyways, I used to work for this lady boss. EXCELLENT.......even for the 4-1/2 years that I was in the dept. She is nasty to other people and got a reputation also but towards her subordinates, she is cool as cat. She entrust a task, she never ask, she never check. Just give her the "goods". That's all. Of course "goods" must be good lah. But really give us a very free hand to go about our business. And then easy for us to bug other dept also. Because they know it's for her.....all "guai guai" also speedy gonzales a bit. At that time, she was single and in her late 40s. No sign of any syndrome towards us. But now....she is posted to Cayman Island......

i left work only when the 'bell rings' yet was told straight to my face that i was a clock watcher. so much for female boss.

The common notion that female bosses judge on emotions and not on facts and figures is slowly changing.
During my job-hunting seasons, if i encountered a female interviewer, i won't harbour muchc hope with putting good impressions. Chances are she has already formed and impression of you before you even opened your mouth.
Same for women bosses. Too emotioned, not objective enough.
But with the onset of more educated women in the generations to come, at least that factor is slowly correcting themselves. -
i know a man boss who is more temperamental than woman. Sucks for those who work for him n Yaks for those who work with him.

it is actually more on the individual than the gender.
but one thing about female boss is some tend to try too hard to show that she is in-charge.
once my female boss said 'whatever decision that needs to be made must come from my mouth. otherwise it does not count'

i'm fortunate tat most of my bosses r ok .. both men n women .. one or two sucks .. come to think of them - those tat sucks r all women .. oops.

i had a lady boss who was emotional sometimes, but it was good... depends on the heart... and it was in the right place..
made her passionate when the management tried to do things that were dead wrong... and they come up against her...
then there are unemotional bosses who are useless..
so, don't kick the "emotional" women bosses... like i said, it depends on the heart
