need to know what do these terms means (theory stuffs):
1. allegro
2. da capo (D.C.)
3. adagio
4. fine
5. allegretto
6. dal segno (D.S.)
7. andante
8. accelerando (accel.)
9. rallentando
10. moderato

Esp andante, moderato, etc.; basically those that deals with speed. how to know how fast/slow to play? -
1) Fast, lively
2) Repeat from the start or from the ||: mark if there is one
3) dunno
4) end. eg D.C. al fine (repeat till end)
5) similar to allegro but slower
6) should be similar to D.C., but from a different mark i think
7) dunno
accelerate, speed up playing, quicken pace
9) should be slow down, not so sure
10) moderately

8. gradually getting faster

There are a few websites that explain the musical terms, but the one below is quite easy to understand (it is meant for guitarists, but most musical terms are interchangeable between instruments):

Most music scores have recommended tempos with a metronome setting marked at the top left corner of the first bar:
The number indicates the number of beats per minute. The example above recommends a tempo of 116 crochets or quarter notes per minute.
If you do not have a metronome, you could visit the website below to get a rough idea of the tempo.
