Queries on Migration

  I know that there's quite a number of people here migrated off to elsewhere and i'm kinda interested so i just want to be informed roughly on the whole procedure.
  
  1.Say, if i'm going to migrate to Canada at the age of 26, completed NS and holds a diploma of biomedical science, and have worked in the related field for 4years, and within this 4years i've accumulated about 1.5k for the application and the 9k minimum requirement to migrate to Canada, having scored 76 out of 67 for the self-assessment test found in the immigration website for Canada, would that be all it seems to be? Or is there anymore hidden charges and stuff?
  
  Any input from anyone who have migrated to Canada? Thanks alot. (:
  Oh,i'm still young but i've this plan in mind, so i just want to know if my plan is feasible or i'll be stucked here which i don't really intend to waste my life on.

  AugoeideS, dont u think Canada is not a good choice now. There is currently some unemployment issues there i heard...

  Are you sure you want to go to Canada? Over here, a few hundred miles south of the Canadian border, winters can be... challenging!

  The scores are minimum before you can be even considered. So, having a score over that base score does not mean your application will be successful. Anyway, for migration purpose, suggest you find a job there first, stay a few years, then make a decision. You will need to find a job there anyway if you intend to migrate.

  i highly suggest that you make a trip down to a special centre that deals with migration.. or consult someone that is experienced in this field.. this will give you sufficient knowledge about what to expect etc.. then from there, you will have a clearer picture and can make better decisions for yourself
