i'm leaving for japan, tokyo for job training for 45 days... accommodation n daily allowance wil be given. but i will like to know what are the necessity i must bring..
like should i apply for credit card? my nokia 7610 can be used there or not?
is it expensive to have my digital camera photo to be wash there? what are the things to get etc...

japan does not support GSM network...

The rice there is so expensive, its cheaper to courier a 25kg pack from singapore by post.

UFJ Bank was the first major Japanese bank to offer 24h ATM in 2003. However, overseas credit or debit cards are very rarely accepted in Japanese banks. Even if you see a Visa or MasterCard sign, it only concerns Japanese ones. -
