Sometimes, when either of us have any grievances or problems that we need to talk about, we would just take this drive to nowhere (well, that's what we said, most of the time, we end up in prata shops).. and talk about it..No matter how late (3-4am), we would still answer each other's calls... -
that's also comforting..but really test the real relationship is when ur in real great difficulty.
mayb cite eg. like asking ur fren to lend u thousands money ,u sure they will lend to u after ur long term relatnship -
i got this friend... we can dun contact each other for long time (diff school), but the moment we meet up, there's not a slight feeling of segregation.
we can quarrel like hell over small small things or money matters. but the next time we meet again, it's as if it never happened.
heck.. i can even imagine her helping me to look after my kids next time... imagine that when i am ten years older, she'll be there in my life as well...
now thats what i call a true friend. -

in my own opinion and years before my friend told me that, I am one of the rare people who is a true friend for them. However, they inadvertently admit they were often less than true and mostly out to use me. So I came to the realization that it is not worth it being nice to anyone. In fact, being nice helped them become a crutch and develop a disabled personality that I had to constantly help. So in the end, to me, a true friend, is someone who points out my faults and help me grow. I cannot tell you who are mytrue friends are because its a fact that only time and when its near he end of my life that I can tell. I can only tell you, I like people who tell me honest things and not the kind who are artificial. So you'd find I write off a lot of these kinds of people.
By asking this kind of question, one might have to think hard about the answers given here.
I am in exam mode and I am suppose to write at least 8 pages of essay on Tuesdays. And I am truthfully saying that this is just a practice session.
