Handicapped like to be independent. You show that you feel sorry for them by helping, they don't like and some feel insulted. They like to feel normal. Besides, it's a lot better for him, if he could find the way on his own. Also if he needs help, he knows where and how to ask (cuz they have learnt to be independent already).Originally posted by plenoptic:kao... cant u just be a little nicer by just guiding him instead of siaming?
Hmm. Is he really blind or perhaps trying to take advantage of you?Originally posted by Honeybunz:A few days ago, I saw a blind man walking in front in opp direction.
I tried avoiding him so that he could walk freely to find his way.But dunno why, he kept walking towards my direction and eventually he knocked onto me.
Even though I apologized to him a couple of times, I still feel very bad.![]()

didn't hurt but the dude was pretty apologetic
anyhoooo... i helped him to get to where he wanted to go...
oh.. when leading blind people, do not grab their elbows... take their hand, and direct it to your elbow.. hold that elbow steady and that will be their guide
U sure he is blind?Originally posted by Honeybunz:A few days ago, I saw a blind man walking in front in opp direction.
