  Woman, don't matter what other people think. What do you think is what really matters. What is the consequence of that action to you and others around you that matters.
  What I think, or anyone think, ain't gonna matter cause its just what we think. My thinking and your thinking is different... don't mean yours is better or mine is better. If you dare and really like it. Go ahead. But as you already know there are consequence. If you choose to keep current hair style, so be it. Its just a choice. I did men's crew cut before, and I told the hairdresser - take as much as you can. I love the coolness but back in the 80s, most people cannot accept it that a girl cut until so short. Took me many years to grow it back properly.
  And now, as my main point would be to be conservative which would not kill you. I advice always people away from following my foolish path... hair can make or break ... ut it all depends on the image you want for yourself and the kind of people you will bound to attract with that attention seeking haircut.
