I don't mind the squeezing and crowd. It's the long travelling time via bus and train that I can't stand. -
chore if it's peak hour and i have to be squashed by 875435 other passengers.....

5. Parking fines -
bus

chore - have to pack sadine and stand for the whole journey
pleasure - can rest my butt on a seat and enjoy the Scenery
MRT (NEL ar)

pleasure - reach destination faster and feel cooler ...coz aircon stronger -

hmm.. never really thought about this before.. all i knew was when i was on public transport.. or of any form.. my main aim was to get from A to B

Strangely, I've been driving for 12 years now. Yesterday, my car was sent for for servicing and i decided to take a bus from Ubi to Eunos MRT station and a train to town. I enjoyed all the rides very much, even back to the workshop.
I don't have to be stressed by the traffic jams, speed trap, inconsiderate drivers, desperate for passengers taxi drivers, Ah Beng speedsters, M'sian cub riders, etc, etc..... And of course get to see many pretty gals too....
Our buses and trains are clean and cool...
