Have you received calls about time-share?

  Hi guys,
  
  anyone here knows what's time-share is about and how they managed to get our names and contact? definitely not from phone books, as they have all form of contacts (mobile, office, home etc)
  
  this guy claims that i'm supposed to be in some time-share thing which i don't recall anything and threaten that if nothing has been done about this so-called membership, we will have some legal problem.
  
  please share you experience

  tell that guy to quickly pay u 100 bucks to renew his money-share membership or you will take legal actions

  You know those guys who stop you at Orchard Road asking if you have time for a survey and that you stand a chance to win a holiday etc? Those guys are usually from time-share companies and that is how they get your details.

  really fed-up with them calling up crapping abt i was in the time-share thing. shouldn't this be illegal?

  Then be nasty with them.
  Ask them for their name and company name and ask them for proof that you joined the company.IF nothing tell them you are going to file a report with CASE.

  Don't be deceived. I was coaxed to part with 2.5K and I regretted it but what can I do?
  
  I really wish to beat this ppl up. Why can't they get a decent job? Even if it's at McDonalds, it's still earning a proper living and not cheating.
  
  Anyone else interested to beat this people up? Maybe we can form a unit or something?

  i got a call for uob about some promotion but shuts up when i say im a student.
