  dono if i m wrong but chinese singers always follow western type of songs, the tune, lyrics or wad... some chinese songs even got english lyrics how lame...
  
  i tink the only chinese band worth mentioning is FIR... songs r unique

  i agree the chinese rock band is not as good as the english one but some of the songs they sing represent my life as a teenager. That is why they attract my attention rather than the english one. Maybe is the culture i brought in. dun like the drugs and sex things mention in those english bands, but i really impress with their skills.
  
  Anyway nowadays the english rock band also sucks. Hate especially coldplay and the kid's band simple plan. I dun understand y they r so popular but this is their preference.

  I always thought that Wu Bai developed a rather unique fusion of Hokkien lingo with Western Blues/Rock licks, unique in the sense that the songs do not just seem to be English Rock N' Roll dubbed with Mandarin vocals.

  You mean his vocals? I find the songs they sing very inspiring towards the younger generation. Their live concerts are nice too, they know how to work the crowd very well.

  yes. he has very poor vocals. how can someone like him sing such songs? though i agree the lyrics are rather inspiring.

  mayday r juz a group of crappers.
  shin is not bad....their lead shinger ah shin is damm powerful
  F.I.R is the BEST...their songs r 1& only,very special....the 3 members r outstanding too.faye's a superb vocalist.Ian an awsome producer,1st key boardist that sways n moves vigouriously wile playing.
