Yesterday, when i passed by Changi Prison, i was wondering: if someone commited a crime and got locked there in the 1980s, and released today, in 2005. I wonder if he would be shocked? After losing touch with the world for so long.

let me tell you my experience...
i once worked for a japanese company at pasir panjang. they employed soon-to-be-released prisoners. many of them 10-20 years in jail for manslaughter or whatnot. i taught them how to use the public phone.
those people gave me the creeps. -
