Eh I just tried the one at West mall, cant remember which one.
the manager not chio but very polite and orders came very quickly lei.
I like the self service hot water beside the table, can help yourself to as much hot water as possible. -
i ate at westmall once......
not too bad......
nothing memorable.....
eh, the hot water is for the green tea lah........... -
Service at Sakae Sushi at Wheelock Place sucks.
Gave order for ramen in addition to sushi, kept reminding them, waited almost 45 mins before it came. Also the hot water for Japanese tea was lukewarm.
I was at the restn. before peak lunchtime crowd came.
Also wanted to redeem 2 UOB vouchers but told cannot. Can only use 1.
I have no problem redeeming my vouchers at Crystal Jade, NYDC, Mache, Swensen etc. Told myself will not patronise them. -

hmm ..reading this thread is enough to make my mouth drool...1.5 yrs since i returned home to Sg ...hmm.. i need a strong dose of japanese and local food.
My plan with my frens was to raid the Sakae Sushi at Wheelock.hehe..we plan to pile 20 red plates up, its kinda of expensive..but i need salmon,octopus etc...dame..i really miss home ...

many bad experiences with sakae sushi, i'd prefer sushi teh, the food seems to be better too
