Where can I find classical/baroque CDs in Singapore?

  I'm looking for Bach, Paganini, and Scarlatti and HMV is either not well-stocked or too ridiculously expensive. Anybody buys these CDs from local shops and where should I look?

  I think the shop is called The Classical Shop. It's at Centrepoint I think 2nd or 3rd floor.

  well i do share your same sentiments with regards to HMV, but they do stock quite a number of titles and you can request them to bring in other discs that they don't normally bring in. Beethoven used to stock tons of such CDs from Dutchese Grammaphone,Decca,Phillip etc..But these CDs manufacturers are pretty high end stuff and it does justify the price your paying.
  
  Besides i bought a set of Herbert von Karajan's Beethoven 9 Symphonies 1961 recordings from HMV Singapore. It was simply awesome.I tried looking for George Winston and Jean Micheal Jarre in some of the smaller CD shops, and i was rather disappointed at their selection or simple bewildered look...
  
  I'm now currently studing in Melbourne, and the HMV here stock only a fraction of what HMV singapore has. I though the HMV in Mel will have tons of gd stuff.oh boy i was wrong. They mostly have the common name titles.and they mix New Age,Classical,Jazz and Bossa Nova together, so its kinda of small for each range.

  The last time I asked HMV to get something for me, they didn't call me for a long long time, and when I came back six months later they had the stock, but I didn't receive any call from them to collect it.
